In the garden

It’s just the very beginning of Autumn, but our Claret Ash is shedding it’s leaves even before they’ve turned colour, showering the deck

20160302-193432.jpgI’m always amazed at how the tree fern fronds unfold

20160302-193723.jpgLots of buds on the camellia

20160302-193819.jpgnew fruit on the lemon tree

Beautiful garden flowers! Shame you’ll miss those claret ash leaves colouring – do you think the heat is doing it? Summer doesn’t seem to want to leave NSW …and maybe for you too. I have a Claret and a Golden Ash – no colour on either as yet.

The beginning of fall is my favorite time of year because I sooooo love fall and the incoming cold weather. I get so much more done. Neither my husband nor I are fans of water, bugs, heat. He does have golf and I have air conditioning…..and your blog to inspire me. Loved your blouse hangers yesterday. Very cute idea.

Love the sedum, borrowed a few bits from local park so I can strike them.

  4. Lots of lovely colour – we are still at the dreary stage of end-of-winter. Now the weather forecasters are threatening us with freezing condition for Easter!

  5. Tree fern fronds are mesmerising, aren’t they!

  6. The fern picture is so beautiful x

lovely garden picks – so welcome as it’s brown here and will be for weeks.

Oooo gorgeous pics of your garden. Love the unfurling fern and those bright flowers are lovely! Here in London, the sun has been shining more and I am very hopeful we’ll be pottering in and enjoying our little garden soon!
