Discipline and progress

I sat down (or should that be stood up, then sat down?) and cut and stitched the last of the blocks for my p-and-c-secret-sewing quilt. Now I just need to decide on the layout and stitch them up!

20160121-140151.jpg(see? discipline!), and I’ve been playing “this goes with that” (yeah, and that jingle for Susans’ stores is now running ’round and ’round in my head!) for Quilty365

20160121-140250.jpgSuch fun!! Circles are up to date for this week too (see? progress!).

Thank you so much for posting your BOD 365… so doable with all the other goings on in everyday life! I am also using solids for my backgrounds and loving the effect and memories of the quilts they were originally used for. Raelene, Perth WA

Lovely work, as always and i love reading your blog. Thinking of taking part in the 365 circles too, but am also doing the Sampler Quilt that everyone, bar none (lol), are doing, plus have another BOM, and some other private sewing, and knitting. Might be a tad overcommitted already. What do THEY say about variety though………?

I love your 365 circles project. Your backgrounds are so bright and happy – I’ve seen a few different takes on this project but most involve neutral backgrounds — yours really make the fabrics ‘ping’ 🙂

  7. There is something wonderfully cheering about such a welter of cheerful fabrics!
