I’m thrilled to be able to show you my foxglove; finally after three years there’s one flowering and another about to.
The cheery faces of the pansies are a delight
(hmm, a little bedraggled after their watering!)
In full bloom now is the bottle brush which is a-buzz with bees
and look at my hydrangea; after a very poor showing last year, I didn’t cut back but did feed and mulch. Look how many flowers there are!
they grow from mere bits of greenery, gaining size and colour until they’re bloomim’ gorgeous!
I received a beautiful azalea from some friends a little while ago, and it’s settling in nicely in it’s new home
the pot with the lobelia and white pansies is still flowering profusely
this little plant looks like it’s sprouting tiny flowers
and the potted carnations are doing well too.
The strategic photography doesn’t reveal the weeds or overgrown grass………yep, working on that very soon!

That is one very tall beautiful foxglove, and everything else is pretty as well. Strangely, you are enjoying your Spring blooms and I am putting my garden to bed for Winter! We are at 5000′ and are expecting snow possibly on Sunday, Monday. Thanks to your generous photos I can enjoy flowers year round.
I love foxgloves – they are my very favorite flower and I grow them every year in my garden :0) I love your huge picture :0) just beautiful!
I planted my foxglove ten years ago never has it appeared, do you think there is still hope Meredithe hehe

Everything looks wonderful especially the bottle brush which does not grow here. It is well and truely autumn here and now it is time to put the garden to bed as the locals say. I’m not certain how raking up great piles of leaves accomplishes that but maybe someone will let me know

Love your foxglove! and all your plants look super healthy. Foxgloves don’t seem to last long in my garden – have to replant every year if I want to be sure – but mine have just started flowering too 🙂
I shall have to show your bottle brush to ours, and tell it that is what it is supposed to look like!! Way back in the 90s, the garden we had then was overrun with foxgloves – they grew like weeds and were a pest!!
