It was delightful to be back at Millrose for Woolly Bits Club on Sunday.
I got to vent some anger by using Lizzie’s circle punch equipment, making a Swiss cheese effect in this piece
(ooh that was fun!)
And what were they for? For bird eyes
Pretty good, me thinks.
We dined in the downstairs room at the cafe and as the day was warm the doors were open.
Delicious lunches as per usual
and we all knuckled down to our stitching in the afternoon:
Lizzie was working on her piece from her trip to Orvieto
Joy is embellishing
Gail is making birds and trees
Lynne is quilting
Jan was embroidering
GJ stitched down a bird ready for embroidery
Jacinta’s birds are multiplying and growing beautiful wings
And me? I finished my first bird……
…..it’s only taken all year! One down 29 to go!!
