An afternoon at the lake

I took Ma Kettle home last Friday and spent the weekend with her. After attending to a few chores on Saturday, we decided on a rest day on Sunday and the adventure of a drive. We ended up in Bendigo at Lake Weeroona. It was a spectacular day and we determined a walk around the Lake would be good for our souls.

20151022-163921.jpgIt’s such a picturesque place, made more so by the clear blue skies and sunshine……in fact, it was hot!

20151022-164211.jpgThere are views at every turn;

    Beautiful photos! Loved the expression, “Shouted me a cold…” Maybe now that you’re heading to summer, our days in southern Calif will cool down and eventually get some rain. Last week some areas had a downpour.

  3. Perfect! Have a wonderful weekend, and special hugs for your Darling Ma xoxo

  4. Lovely pictures. Those drinks look yummy too.

    Nice to have those getaways with Mom. Photos are great, especially the little ducklings and ooooh that yummy cold drink that Ma K just had to shout at you, kind of looks like it could be lunch and dinner! Here in the mountains winter is around the corner and the birds are flying south.

  6. Good grief-those drinks! Did you to toddle or waddle home !!! 🙊
