Yesterday The Golfer suggested a day out, and after some discussion (I wanted a walk on the beach and somewhere we don’t usually visit), he suggested Torquay, so off we went.
It was one of “those” Spring days; mild, sunny, cloudy, overcast, rainy and cold, or in other words, four seasons in one day! On the way down we passed several paddocks brilliantly yellowed with crops of ripening canola
There are some “seats” along the path carved from driftwood (this is for you Malcolm)
If you squint and look closely at this next pic, you’ll see some black specks below the cliffs; there were four
foolhardy souls out on their surf boards. It was bad enough trying to walk along the path in a freezing, blustery wind let alone be in the water!
The invigorating walk in the “bracing breeze” blew some cobwebs away……….
