Squishy parcels

This month’s fabric club from Material Obsession is……..well……a little different

20150627-194909.jpgI’m in two minds over the tropical flowers; love the orange fern leaf (I have some of that in turquoise); also love the two different stripes; but in really not a fan of animal prints, but I do know a home where I think it will be welcomed!

But the best squishy parcel for the week was from my dear friend Anne, all the way from sunny Scotland! The gorgeous Anne has shared her precious new Liberty fabrics with me, and included a lovely card, perfect for framing!

That fabric grouping is an odd one with the black spotted animal(?) print to me, also. For one thing, the black (on white/light) don’t appear to “play well” with the others, which seem to feature ‘blues’ rather than black.

  2. It does seem on odd collection of fabrics, without any theme. I was delighted to share my special fabric with such a special friend!!

In Edinburgh today, and you have a beautiful parcel from here, fabric lovely and the special card, not sure about your other squishy parcel.

Always love liberty, but I especially love that gorgeous card. It will look beautiful framed.

Beautiful! And cherish that Betsy in gray — I tried to order a bolt and it’s out of stock — not sure if it will reappear!
