Sue 3 came to class looking very glamorous in co-ordinating jacket, hat and bag (couldn’t resist a pic!)
Sue had finished her tricky block
and nearly has her “Green Tea” together
Carole had some more of her pieced blocks done
and an appliqué block
Ellen started prepping her borders
Pearl had a cutting spree
and Anne-Maree is determined that no sewing machine will touch this particular quilt, so with the hand quilting finished, she started hand stitching the binding on.
Carylin has so quilts back from the quilter
same quilt, different colour ways
two very different looks.
Carylin also has four more blocks made
Jane has her quilt top finished
and in class she chose two borders, cut both and stitched one set on.
Ditto for Nanette with her log cabin quilt
Fiona too has her quilt top together and just needs to add one more border
We welcomed back Josephine from her Europe trip, and while away she stitched down her hexagons and made lots of stars
Lorraine made two hexies in class
Marilyn stitched her little hexies onto the mitre of one border and prepped 4-pointed stars for the next
Sue 1 has lots of flowers and leaves prepped for her borders
Chris finished a star, started a star and prepped a star
we welcomed a newbie to class, and Nicole stitched a pieced circle and prepped it for appliqué
Sue 1 has a set of her blocks together
and spent class time helping out in the shop, putting these fabrics together into packs
and GJ visited class and prepped another Passacaglia block
Phew – it’s been a busy two days. I should sleep well tonight!
