Before I became their teacher, the Wednesday students had a “long class” once a month staying until 2.00pm and enjoyed lunch together. Last week we decided to reinstate this event, so this week with the extra time, lots was achieved, as you’ll see!
Carole has gone a little berserk with her “Green Tea”!
she’s accomplished all this in a week. Only slightly obsessed!
Sue 3 meantime is on the home stretch and she spent class cutting backgrounds for her appliqué pieces for “Green Tea”
Lois had her quilt top together and sewed the side borders in class
Together we chose and cut borders for the top and bottom – hope to show you the finished top soon.
Ellen had fun with hexagons
Anne Marie learnt how to do Colonial Knots and now Santa
and the birds have eyes!
The other Anne Maree is seeing a light at the end of the tunnel with her hand quilting
Together Deirdre and I worked out a pattern for Baptiste Fan and she started quilting it with her machine
and Pearl’s backing is making good progress
Lorraine has gone to town with her stars
and by class end had these hexies made too
Sue 2 has started Judy’s Emma Mary
Alison joined us today and I helped her with her Dresden Plates blocks
Carylin has a mountain of little stars
and Jane’s quilt is growing.
