We interrupted our sewing on Saturday to go to the ANZAC parade and service. Saturday had dawned cold and wet
and as the rain had really set in by the time we left, umbrellas were the order of the day.
It looked like the whole town, and many from surrounding towns, had turned out and we were all very moved by the service.
Back at the house, Maree has a new sewing machine
($89.00 from the Post Office of all places!) and she proceed to attach border to her “Museum Medallion”
changing it up from Judy’s version; there’s another border going on with appliqué.
Miss A bought fabric for Judy’s “French Market Medallion”
We’re Judy Junkies really, aren’t we?!
Miss F was prepping
as was GJ
for her version
Miss C prepped
lots of gorgeous “Emma Mary” blocks
Miss H prepped an “Aunts’ Quilt” block
made some stars, and sewed an extra line to make little hst’s
making all of these, twice (that’s the pile)
And that’s not all! Back tomorrow with yet more…….
