Slow improvement

Thank you all for your comments on my last post. The Kettles were overwhelmed by your kind thoughts and care, and also thank you. They also couldn’t believe from how far and wide these well wishes came!

Pa Kettle gave us all, including himself, a fright on Monday when we had to call out an ambulance. After excellent treatment in hospital he was allowed home the next day and is taking it easy with three pairs of eyes covertly checking his breathing, colour and demeanour! (More tests next week should determine the problem and, hopefully, a solution.)

Melbourne has been putting on more of a spectacular show this Autumn; I know I’ve mentioned it before, but as I have no sewing to show you, Autumn colour is a great substitute!

Nature strips and gutters are full of fallen leaves

20150415-171552.jpgour nights are rapidly drawing in too, a sure sign that Winter is on the way.

Thanks again dear peeps……

Much love

So many things going on for you right now! I pray that there is a good resolution to his health issues! Given that we are struggling to launch Spring, I can only appreciate your Autumn colors with limited excitement!!! LOL! Your summer has been a warm one and this next season will give welcome respite I’m sure! Blessings……………………

Pleased to hear that pa Kettle’s health is improving. Whilst you are enjoying the autumn we are experiencing spring. It is so wonderful to see the bulbs and buds starting to grow. But best of all it is so much warmer and the grass has turned green again.

It’s great to hear Pa Kettle is on the mend and being so well taken care of. Autumn is such a magical time of year. Your photos remind me of being a child crunching my way through leaves on the way to school.
