GJ lent me her “Green Tea and Sweet Beans” (Sweet Tea and Green Beans?) to show the two Sue’s and Carole how the finished quilt looks.
and they pored over it!
Carole finished hand piecing all the “Richmond” blocks together.
Adrienne was tracing, tracing, tracing…..
Sue 3 and I chose some fabrics for another of her blocks
Deirdre and I threw around some suggestions for a charm pack, she decided on one and started the prep work
and Lois was cutting out her pretties.
Lorraine brought in a beautiful throw she’s knitted (couldn’t resist doing a little collage with these!)
and Fiona showed us a scarf her mum made her
Peggy carefully trimmed down her half square triangles
Chris was piecing
and Carylin would have had her “Farmers’s Wife” together, but a new addition to the family necessitated a trip to western Victoria to see the baby niece (it is two thirds together!), so she’s piecing stars
and with Sue A’s help, Carylin chose fabrics for (another) “Avalon” which will be given away as a friend’s 60th birthday present.
The recipient likes creams and yellows……..so good choices, we thought!
