I am a Richmond fan and I love the Tigers quilt. What a great idea! My mother always told me a story of how Jack Dyer put her on his shoulders when she was a little girl. Thank you for sharing.

Meredith, I am reading this post well after the fact, it’s now Nov 14th. I am admiring Sue 2’s work on this post of March 20th. The broiderie perse is just what I have been looking for. I was able to enlarge your photo enough to see great detail, I’m teaching myself this applique technique and have so far found no photos to help me. I think I am being too intricate with my cutting. Your photo helps so much. Also do you remember the size of her hexagons and the name of the pattern? Hope you get this delayed comment. I spend most of my “cuppa” time going through your blogs. Thank you so much for all the great photos.

Thank you for taking the time to comment - reading them makes my day!
