We’d decided to have a Kris Kringle, and the sideboard was soon covered as participants surreptitiously placed their gifts.
After dinner on Saturday night the gifts were handed out and it was amazing how many gifts ended up recipient appropriate! I’d made a bag with some accoutrements
and received this beautiful tin
filled with these lovely bits and pieces (thank you Miss J!)
On Sunday morning we ventured to the shop, which overnight had sprouted Christmas decorations!
then it was time for some Woolly Bits playing – it was why we were there after all!
We also had a visit from a lady who does exquisite embroidery
hmm, thought you might like some close ups, yes??
More woolly bits from our girls
a bit of fun
Some more bags from sew demented
the girls had so much fun with these!
There were some new quilt purchases (not mine!)
and more exquisite embroidery, this from Jan K.
It almost looks real, doesn’t it?
Too soon it was pack up time; bags were hauled out, car boots were filled, last minute shopping attended to, farewells made, and the date booked in for our first class for 2015. My goodness that sounds strange! And the unanimous vote to enjoy the same weekend next year! Yes, please!!
