Woolly Bits -part 2

We’d decided to have a Kris Kringle, and the sideboard was soon covered as participants surreptitiously placed their gifts.

20141202-212547.jpgAfter dinner on Saturday night the gifts were handed out and it was amazing how many gifts ended up recipient appropriate! I’d made a bag with some accoutrements

20141202-212909.jpgand received this beautiful tin

20141202-213324.jpgfilled with these lovely bits and pieces (thank you Miss J!)

20141202-213429.jpgOn Sunday morning we ventured to the shop, which overnight had sprouted Christmas decorations!

20141202-213549.jpgthen it was time for some Woolly Bits playing – it was why we were there after all!

20141202-213702.jpgWe also had a visit from a lady who does exquisite embroidery

20141202-213813.jpghmm, thought you might like some close ups, yes??

20141202-213850.jpgMore woolly bits from our girls

20141202-213941.jpga bit of fun

20141202-214008.jpgSome more bags from sew demented

20141202-214827.jpgthe girls had so much fun with these!

20141202-214918.jpgThere were some new quilt purchases (not mine!)

20141202-214959.jpgand more exquisite embroidery, this from Jan K.

20141202-215100.jpgIt almost looks real, doesn’t it?

Too soon it was pack up time; bags were hauled out, car boots were filled, last minute shopping attended to, farewells made, and the date booked in for our first class for 2015. My goodness that sounds strange! And the unanimous vote to enjoy the same weekend next year! Yes, please!!
