It’s day 4 and I’m on a roll! Yesterday, as promised, I finished this block
My Mother-in-law used to knit socks each Winter for my Father-in-law; he hasn’t had any since she died and I’ve always thought I should make him some. In case you’re wondering, the brown is for him and the blue for me (doesn’t Kaffe look young in that photo??).
This afternoon I finished stitching the four-patch/lozenge row on this quilt
then prepped (for some reason there are no markings on these pieces – what was I thinking??), and pieced the octagon/lozenge row and have started stitching it on. I’m using the Kumo template set. Only one more row to go on this……then I need to decide what to do next – it’s too small to be useful as it is and I still love this fabric and have lots of it. I’m wondering about a double diamond border??
How’s your daily stitching going? Please let us know in the comments. I’ve been so enjoying reading what you’re all up to. If you haven’t joined in yet, it’s not too late! Just an hour a day, and let us know what you’ve stitched. Keep it going my lovelies!
Achieved: 2 blocks and 1.5 rows
Watching: Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone (catching up on some favourite movies!)
