Eliott Stitchers

Tuesday was Eliott Stitchers day, but again, there wasn’t much stitching going on and lots of talk instead! Of course, we ate in between and GJ had a beautiful table set

20140820-165644.jpgready for delicious potato and leek soup with garlic bread

20140820-165802.jpgwith nibbles for afters, and I made the pikelets and hedgehog!

There was a bit of show and tell too. GJ has a gorgeous new tin for her very fine crochet, a pretty perfume bottle and baskets made from fabulous old wallpapers, just right for knitting!

20140820-170139.jpgLinda’s recent travels yielded a – much coveted! – new bag

Hopefully there will be some sewing news soon!

Looks like another lovely day with the Stitchers Meredithe. So is the Pickelets and Hedgehog an Australian thing or a Meredithe thing?

The bag is so cute and I’m sure you had a lovely day all together !

  6. Lovely table setting – quite some time ago I used to read a blog about table settings – more interesting than you might think! I know what you mean about chatting getting in the way of sewing – that’s just what happened today at Anne’s shop!

Thank you for taking the time to comment - reading them makes my day!
