Class Show and Tell

Firstly I need to apologise for the quality of this week’s photos – I forgot the camera and had to use my phone!!!

Nanette has finished her split 9-patch quilt

20140731-163442.jpgShe’s decided to call it the “Miracle Quilt” as she feels it’s a miracle that it was finished! Nanette then started cutting out squares – all 144 of them! – for her 36-patch blocks, and started to stitch one up

20140731-163623.jpgPeggy is trundling along with her Log Cabin blocks

20140731-163807.jpgLisa has another star block made

20140731-163850.jpgJosephine started basting down her second hexie border for Mrs B

20140731-164000.jpgJane cut and appliquéd for her corner blocks

20140731-164041.jpgCarylin is also appliquéing – for setting triangles

20140731-164140.jpgSue 1 is progressing well with her hexie centre

20140731-164239.jpgSue 2 set up and started appliquéing a dog tooth border

20140731-164324.jpgand Chris worked on another little Mrs B border – this is just to get some perspective for you!

20140731-164426.jpgVery much a case of little and large – but equally as time consuming!

  2. Natalie Spilsbury says:

Great variety of lovely work thanks for taking time to share

  3. Irene Blanck says:

How lucky are you. You get to sew with some wonderful quilters. Beautiful work.

  4. I find stitching small projects much more time-consuming in proportion to the time spent on large projects (I hope you can follow that!) As always, lots of lovely work ……especially all the fussy cutting.

Thank you for taking the time to comment - reading them makes my day!
