Weekend doings – part 1

Instead of our normal stitching day on Saturday, those who could had a road trip.

Our destination was Patch n Quilt where there was a special event – the launch of Irene Blanck’s new patterns!

The shop was looking lovely, as per usual, and now has wool

Oh WOW! Look at all those gorgeous quilts — you must have had a wonderful time! I love the setting on that last quilt — it’s like a Baltimore Album quilt with a twist. Thanks for sharing all the eye candy!

Irene’s patterns are wonderful. I’ve seen several of them before, but I especially like her new one Ms. Kelly. I think it’s the gray backgrounds that make it new and fresh.
