Eleven students in class this week, so I was a busy teacher, moving from one to the next, allotting tasks, keeping them busy…….no slacking allowed!!
Carolyn has finished sashing her blocks….
….borders are next!
Cathie showed us one of two quilts she’s making for a friend who’s having twins…..
After much trial and fenangling, Josephine has this hexagon pyramid to stitch up….
(yes, one more piece to cut!)….it’s going to look fabulous!
Lorraine is starting something new….
First block cut and made in class and some of you may recognise it….
yes….Lorraine is starting Farmer’s Wife. Only 110 blocks to go now!
Sue 1 cut her final borders for Mrs B and started laying out her pyramids
and at the other end of this journey, Chris has her second border on and bits and pieces cut and/or stitched for upcoming ones
Sue 2 and Peggy are also starting new projects; Sue’s is by hand
and Peggy’s by machine
hmm….what could they be up to?? You shall just have to wait and see!!
Danielle has tried her hand at appliqué….
and Lisa is back with us, busily cutting for yet another new mystery project
and when Lisa had finished that she continued hand quilting this for a friend’s baby
(Must be a baby season!!)
