20140228-093903.jpgand stitched this one up in class

20140228-093942.jpg(This one is my current favourite!)

Marilyn also showed us this very sweet scissor fob, made by her sister

20140228-094122.jpgand I thought Marilyn’s sewing cushion was very sweet (she’s a Nanna to 3 granddaughters!)

20140228-094219.jpgWe also had two finishes in class; Peggy has her Sundrops top done – we’re just deciding on borders now

20140228-094329.jpgand Cathie’s Autumn Leaves is finished, with the label sewn on in class, just in time for the beginning of Autumn here!

The gals in your class really do spectacular work. I love to look at everyone’s inspirational fabric choices, bright contemporary choices in traditional patterns. I’m going to have to stitch the Nana saying for sure!

Such talented stitchers ! I especially love the scissors fob and the Autumn Leaves. I wonder is that the same as the Maple leaves that have been appearing on the internet?

  4. As always, super work, and I love the scissor fob. I have an autumn leaves wallhanging – but I forgot to put the stems on mine!!
