Class Show and Tell

Everyone was very busy today! Several quilts are so near completion.

Sue’s triangle border looked like butterflies in flight!

Mary was adding her label….

20131128-140714.jpgAlly was binding….

20131128-140740.jpgJane chose a new quilt from Petra Prins book, Promenade in a Dutch Garden….

20131128-141304.jpgand promptly set to work, buying some fabric packs and producing hour glass blocks…

20131128-141406.jpgJosephine completed another pyramid triangle….

20131128-141519.jpgI love the way the outside fabric zig zags its way up the sides of the pyramid!

Irene was a visitor to the shop, and brought in her first ever quilt to choose a backing. She completed a class with Michelle Yeo, and once shown the foundation piecing technique, couldn’t stop!

  1. Irene’s quilt is stunning! As usual lots of lovely work – you are all so productive!

  2. That sure is an excellent first time quilt, and paper piecing to boot!
I have yet to embrace that technique. I’ve done it a few times, maybe it’s not my cup of tea.
The pieced triangle is great. All the fabrics used in today’s post were lovely.

Thank you for taking the time to comment - reading them makes my day!
