A Finish!

I did get a quilt finished in time for AQM; not one for Victorian Textiles, but for the Liberty Fabrics stand.

20131125-140003.jpgI had a sample pack of the Liberty Lifestyle fabrics and put them together in simple squares, sashed with blue instead of a more conventional white, and putting a Liberty Lifestyle on the back too….

Niiiice M!! does that stay at your house or their showroom??

  2. I am such a sucker for almost any blue, but that’s a particularly lovely shade. Like bright, midday skies and cool seas and things of that summery nature (can you tell I’m longing for rather more, and more of it, seasonable weather than we seem to be getting?). I’m also most impressed by the fact that you remember to put a rod pocket on it straightaway. 🙂

It looked great on the stand too! It had lots of lookers and feelers , but that fabric can not be ordered anymore. There is only whats left in the shops.Very nifty rod pocket !

  4. I have lots of Liberty fabric that I can’t bear to cut up, as it is so pretty! However, after seeing your delightful quilt, I could be pesuaded to use it ……

  5. So bright and cheerful. Love the fabrics. Of course we can’t get them here in the US easily.
