Class Show and Tell

It’s school holidays here in Victoria, so it was a very small class today. Now you know I don’t put photos of people on my blog, except for me or at their request, but here’s my students today, waving a “hello” to you all…..

20130926-174514.jpg…and here’s how much they achieved!!

Lorraine had another almost-finished-let’s-get-it-finished project….

20130926-174625.jpg….and she’s back to working on her stars….

20130926-174702.jpgSue 2 had her Mouse Blanket finished…

20130926-174752.jpg…looks great with that turquoise backing, doesn’t it?? Would you like a close up of the mice?….

20130926-174858.jpg…those meeces are having far too much fun, aren’t they??!! Sue spent class time cutting out 60 triangles and almost the same number of ovals….

20130926-175026.jpgCathie’s Autumn Leaf quilt is at the quilters (yippee!), and with the left over leaves, she’s decided to make some cushions, like this….

20130926-175233.jpg…and in class, Cathie has chosen her next quilt, so she made her first blocks in a new technique…

20130926-175420.jpg…from this gorgeous book (available at Quilts in the Barn over the weekend – don’t forget to bring cash if you want one!) by Petra Prins and An Moonen…..

20130926-175720.jpg….and by the end of class Cathie had another two blocks made and 9 more sets ready to go!!

20130926-175839.jpgProductive little vegemites, weren’t they?!

Happy stitching
