It’s really not good for you when there’s too many gorgeous things to be seen, causing too much hyperventilating!! Would you like to see too?? You have been warned!!

Mrs Mac ventured up to Brisbane for the Quilt Exhibition (loved it by the way!), and while there stayed with friends. Her friend, Mrs C, took Mrs Mac to a bric-a-brac store where….get ready!!….Mrs Mac purchased this…..

20130923-122450.jpgI’ve never seen a sewing basket like this on legs before!!…..

20130923-122543.jpgIt’s in such good condition too…..

20130923-122624.jpgWhat’s that? What’s inside? Oh, that’s a very sweet cross stitched table runner…..

20130923-122730.jpg..so pretty!…..

20130923-122817.jpgRecovered your breath yet? Ok, here’s the next pulse racer! Miss Helen went shopping (on her own!! without us!!!!), at Patchwork Passion, and scored soooo well. I’m totally in love wiiIiith……this!

20130923-123145.jpgHow Gorgeous Is This Fabric????!!!! It’s Notting Hill by Joel Dewberry. (Think I might need to get me some of this!!)

Now as if all that wasn’t enough, the girls had some fabulous sewing show and tell too!

Miss Kaye is scooting along with her Irene Blanck Mosaic quilt…

20130923-123700.jpgMrs Mac needed a new hand piecing project to take to Brisbane, and some stitching later…..

20130923-123836.jpgMiss Helen is having all sorts of fun playing with fabric combinations for her Sunburst

20130923-123938.jpgAnd me? I’ve been Playing With Hexagons, using my hexie templates to make these….

20130923-124047.jpgAfternoon tea was scrumptious, as usual; this next pic is just for you, Suzanne (with a little bit of sconnage for Anne – made by Miss Helen’s fair hand!)….

20130923-124446.jpgAnd Spring has definitely sprung…..this gorgeous tree greeted us at Helen’s…..

20130923-124645.jpgThank you for all your wooly bits love – so appreciated, you’re too lovely!!

Wow! You need to pass the paper bag! The quilting projects are all just so stunning — every one of them! I love those Joel Dewberry prints too — the second one from the left reminds me of clothing I had when I was a teenager. Thanks for sharing!
