Over the last week I’ve been the recipient of some sweet presents.

The first was from The Golfer, totally unexpected and impromptu….

20130716-142215.jpg…that lovely man just saw them and knew I’d love them! Doesn’t happen often, so all the more special! And over the week they’ve bloomed to this….

20130716-142339.jpgThen one of my students, knowing my penchant for peppermint tea, present me with this mint plant….

20130716-142559.jpg…which was almost too pretty to unwrap….

20130716-142644.jpg….but is now happily growing in its new home, ready for me to pick and steep into tea!

20130716-142816.jpgDelicious! Thanks Josephine.

And what could be in this blue bowl?

20130716-143017.jpgBlue chook eggs! from Linda’s lavender hens.

Happy stitching

What gorgeous presents. Always nice to be unexpectantly received. X

  2. When we lived in Italy, friends across the valley from us made mint tea by stuffing practically a whole bush into their teapot. Lovely stuff it was, too. I can just about smell yours from here. 😉
