Weekend Stitching

Well that’s it – long weekend over! And not another one until November! For those of you who had one – hope it was great…..mine was.

:: stitching
:: tea drinking
:: “Vignette” reading
:: out and about – sunshine, but scarf and coat weather
:: crocheting
:: puzzling over borders and backing for my zig zag quilt

I also enjoyed two stitching days out with friends. Here’s a bit of what they’re up to…

20130611-143909.jpg…knitted scarf on the go, hexagons growing, more borders to ponder, a binding to sew on…

20130611-143945.jpg…another binding to put on, basket envy, finished quilt to admire…

Great weekend!

Happy stitching

    Wet weekend here, good for sewing. Are the hexagons made from some of your templates? What size are the hexagon stitcheries. One of my daughters is having her 2nd baby in Sept and I’m looking for baby quilt ideas. This is grandchild number 8 so I’m running out of ideas. Your blog is always full of inspiration
