Peep, Peep, Postman’s Been!

The postie was a busy bee here at p and c last week, buzzing in three times. Yes! three deliveries last week of special note (I’m not counting those nasty window faced envelopes that always make B cranky!!).

First to arrive was a book I’d requested from the fabulously innovative Victoria Findlay Wolfe, her “15 Minutes of Play”.

20130430-153525.jpgWell!! What an amazing this book is!! Not sure that I’m up for all the challenges, but it has certainly whet my appetite to try some “made fabric” and see where that leads. It was so interesting to read about Victoria’s beginnings and family quilting history, and there are some fabulous quilts to pour over. I’ll be going back to this book.

Second to arrive was the Material Obsession Fabric Club delivery. More fabric goodness to play with!

20130430-154124.jpgAnd last but not least is a box full of new template goodies, ready to be checked and used to make samples……and I can’t show you, ’cause it’s all a secret! Until the Sydney Trade Show!

Happy stitching

I’ve got that book too, it is wonderfully inspirational, I loved making “made fabric” very relaxing just to sit there at the machine and sew away.
