Abundance and Harmony

On the look out for something small to complete, I remembered that my Abundance quilt needed finishing.

So here it is, such a sweet little quilt, machine pieced, hand quilted and bound…

20130417-121051.jpgIt was such a pleasure to make this little beauty; just enough piecing, just enough quilting, just enough binding…..all highly achievable and now Done!! Actually I think this is my first finish for the year – it’s been a slow start in 2013!! (It’s not labelled as yet – oops!!)

Lori now has another winning, little quilt for us me to make, called Harmony (click on the link to find it). So, of course, I’m obliged to partake!! And here’s the start!

Happy stitching

Your version of Abundance is charming, Meredithe! I, too, plan to make Harmony. It’s such a fun exercise recreating these well-loved, primitive little pieces.

Love it M, and wasn’t it a fun little quilt to make??!! Looks like Harmony’s going to be quick & fun to make too, still haven’t got started on mine but hope to next week. Off to Tassie tomorrow for a wedding and a little holiday & plan to drop in at Crow Central, very excited!!!
