Postal Treats

Several weeks ago I was one of the fortunate winners in Jolene’s latest giveaway. (Jolene is she of Granny Square Quilt fame. Can you believe how popular this fabulous quilt has become?!)

The mail has arrived today….

20130417-112403.jpg…and how enticing to see a parcel all the way from Canada! Said envelope was opened with great excitement and anticipation, and revealed this book….

20130417-112535.jpg…with Jolene….

20130417-112627.jpg…and her quilt as the first entry!

20130417-112726.jpg..and then, not one…

20130417-112824.jpg…but two lots of gorgeous fabric…

20130417-112909.jpgI’m tickled pink with Jolene’s generosity and so look forward to reading this book and playing with the fabrics!! Thank you Jolene!

I have been reading Jolene’s blog since discovering the Granny Squares Quilt, and recommend it to you. Jolene makes beautiful quilts, with a fabulous fabric palette, and cleverly machine quilts most of them herself. And she’s a sweetie into the bargain!

I’m off for a cuppa and a read….!!

Happy stitching

Recently found your blog and really enjoying reading it. Would you mind telling me ( if you know ) the name of the second fabric from right on the bottom picture – turquoise with white blossoms. Have seen it around and would love to track some down – thanks x
