Class Show and Tell

It’s school holidays (already!), so a diminished class this week, but none the less productive!

Peggy arrived with her quilt top, which she’d put together by herself!! (I’m so proud!)…

20130404-165036.jpgIt’s been handed over to Karen for quilting.

So what will Peggy do next? Here’s a sneak peek…

20130404-165241.jpgJill basted her little hexagon quilt, ready for some hand quilting; we decided circles would look good…

20130404-165340.jpgCathy was busy with an appliqué for a cushion…

20130404-165414.jpgSue 2 almost finished her next block for King George III

20130404-165857.jpgand Lorraine was appliquéing too…

Happy stitching

what a clever lot!! i’m loving Peggy’s quilt top & the fabrics she’s chosen for her next project!! as for Sue 2’s King George block, it’s got me in a spin her fabric selection too!!

  2. Oh dear, this is my 3rd attempt to leave a comment! I’ve had to fill in my details – usually the comment form comes up with that bit already filled in, then I was told my email was invalid!
So, as always, a super collection of projects and I particularly like Peggy’s quilt!

Love those hexagon flowers with their rounded edges in Cathy’s applique! Thanks for sharing, as always!

Love the pictures… Is that thread on the hexagon one or drawn lines? I am not too familiar with hand quilting so I always wondered if people drew lines with non permanent ink and then went back over them with thread.

Thank you for taking the time to comment - reading them makes my day!
