Day 29 – Mute Monday

Psst…..can you hear me? Sorry, bit croaky still….but my ripple cushion is finished.

…and here ’tis with the stripey cushion….

I’ve turned my hand now to Tunisian Crochet using this book.

…and it’s fun! The crochet hook is very long, and one works stitches onto it and then off again to form rows. Just keeping it simple for the start. There are some gorgeous patterns in the book, a couple of tops I’d like to have a go at……. Guess I should finish the cushion first, huh?!

Happy stitching

Love your cushions! I have cast off my ripple rug ….. now I just need to sew in all the ends! I’ve started one for Malcolm in more manly colours. Since when did having one project on the go mean that you can’t start another!!

You made good use of your time, I’m going to learn Tunisian Crochet at our Craft show in a couple of weeks, Prudence Mapstone is going to give a small workshop on it, should be good.

I love the colours, so bright. I’ve done a bit of tunisian crochet, got some information from a book on all sorts of crochet. It is very interesting
