Class Show and Tell

Most of our holiday girls were back from their travels this week, and Karen arrived with some quilted quilts – very exciting!!

Josephine’s Flying Geese

Lorraine’s hexagon quilt

and Lyn’s Syke’s Family Album Quilt

They look so different quilted – it always amazes me how they change from quilt top, to quilted quilt, to bound and finished.

Once the excitement of show and tell on the quilts had abated work started on current projects:

Josephine had more hexagons

Lorraine had finished the star she’d started last week,

just the emerald border to attach, and she started on the next one

Sue #2 has started a new project – just a taster this time….!

and Cathie was putting a backing on a friend’s embroidered baby blanket

Happy stitching

Hi Meredithe. I found your blog on the Broderie Blog. the quilts look great. Love Josephine’s quilt. I remember when she started it. I do boxing on Thursday mornings. I have lost 18 kilos. I am in Trish Harper’s sewing group on Wednesdays, but miss my reproduction stuff.

Thank you for taking the time to comment - reading them makes my day!
