Class Show and Tell

My Goodness! Life as an Auntie is sooo busy!! I’m a little behind with my posts but aim to catch you up this week. But firstly I would like to say a Big Thank You to you, my Lovely Peeps, for all your beautiful comments and best wishes for our family on the birth of our Poppet; they have really touched our hearts and added to the joy of this exciting time! The family are home now; Poppet is doing well and her parents have quickly realised that life, as they knew it, will never be the same again!!

Now where was I? Ah yes, class show and tell (not my show and tell!)

We had a number of finishes to see……

Lorraine has completed all the blocks of her Moon Glow and put the top together (and doesn’t it glow??!!)

20140407-075814.jpgJane’s nephew’s quilt is now all done and ready in plenty of time for his May birthday

20140407-075923.jpgand Nanette attached the last of the borders on her Disappearing 9-Patch

20140407-080032.jpgPeggy started stitching those strips she was cutting and made the first of many Log Cabin blocks

20140407-080229.jpgLisa was zooming fabric through her machine at a great rate of knots; this is what her blocks will look like

20140407-080416.jpgDanielle had a foundation piecing lesson,

20140407-080555.jpgshe’d made the above one at home sewing on papers, and I showed her the freezer paper method,

20140407-080726.jpgand I do believe we have a convert!

And Carolyn made her first star using templates!
