What a fabulous array of show and tell we had on Friday! Mrs Mac had such a busy week. Look at what she achieved….
…one quilt top started, another bordered and basted ready for hand quilting, and yet another machine quilted and bound! Love the stripe binding on that one.
Helen has had a clean up in her sewing room, discovered some treasures, and made a start on a new project. Loving this version of rail fence….
…and this delightfully delicious fabric gathering is for a hexagon quilt similar to the one Mrs Mac is currently making using my Playing With Hexagons series….
…and look what Helen found in another pretty box…
I think we’re as excited as Helen at these rediscovered fabric treats!
Lyn has been going gang busters with her hexagons….
So much to look at with these!
As always, Helen spoilt us with a scrumptious chocolate cake. Check out the glossy gleam of the icing. Oh, the cholesterol!!
…a slice (or two!) of which some of us coated in copious ripples of cream….
We waddled home, replete with food, friendship and inspiration!
Happy stitching
Meredithe (who’s off for a looooong walk!)
