Last weekend and Monday I was out and about with my gorgeous girlfriends. Saturday I was taken to a store I hadn’t been to before, GJ’s, sadly no photos of the shop, just our delicious afternoon tea…no, that one’s not mine….
…this one is mine, a scrumptious iced chocolate with ice cream!….oh, and a raspberry muffin….(yes, I’ve been walking!!)…
Conversely, no food photos for Monday, but lots on shops!! Patch n Quilt was the first stop – Mary has had a little rearrange!

So many gorgeous things to attract a grasshopper’s attention!! And, of course, the delightful Mary to entertain!
Then it was back on the highway to another favourite haunt, Threadbear
It’s dry, dry, dry in country Victoria, (and all across the horizon was a smoke haze reminding us of the vagaries of this Summer season)…
…so it was amazing to see this….
…in the street in Castlemaine.
Off to The Mill Markets in Daylesford next for a spot of antiquing. The front of the building hosts incredible sculptures…

By this time, yours truly was really feeling the heat, so I bought a book and opted to sit in the cafe and befriend the giant fan. Plonked myself amid the retro cushions….
…sipped water, fell asleep and read…

Did spy this lovely crockery, love the colours and the shape of the large plate, but sadly it stayed at The Mills…
….very little of which, I’m pleased to say, is mine!
More lovely days out with friends!
Happy stitching

Oh my – where to start! I was nearly licking the screen when I saw the food and cuppas!! Then it was serious fabric envy ….. so I was glad when I reached the Tilda tin, as I have one of them!! Love all the sculptures (you know rust is one of my weird passions!) and I would have happily joined you for a snooze on the couch! I think the crockery would have come home with me ….
