Class Show and Tell

Jill brought this book to class a few weeks ago…

20121116-105926.jpg….as she is interested in making an Amish quilt…

20121116-110009.jpgCoincidentally, in one of my recent clean outs, I’d come across this kit…

20121116-110100.jpg…bought many years ago and which I knew I’d never make. So it was great to be able to give it to a good home. Between us we worked out a plan to make it bigger, then with Sue’s help Jill took the kit fabrics….

20121116-110355.jpg…and added these…

20121116-110456.jpgJill very kindly gave me this book as a thank you for the kit…

20121116-110554.jpgThere are some gorgeous pincushions in there, and as Jill said, even if I don’t make any, it’s a lovely book to browse through!

Marilyn brought along her clam shells which are steadily growing…

20121116-110854.jpg…and signed up for Karen’s latest block of the month, Robin’s Nest…

Sue 2 stitched more hexagon blocks…

And Lorraine has been experimenting with quilt as you go on a table runner…

M its great to give something away to a good home when we know we won’t make it in a pink fit. Jill will do a good job with it. Nice pincushion book!
